Hello !
Thanks for your answer, it might be worth trying.
At first I wanted to import openob in my python project, configure the
different objects (audio_interface, link, node) and run the link from the
program, with full control on it.
The scheme was:
- Creating an OpenOB object with the config args, so it configures itself
- Moving it in a thread (my program runs on PyQt5)
- Run the link in the Object when I click on a button
- Stop it when I click on a button
That was this last part I struggled with. I couldn't figure out how to stop
it, maybe I missed an easy way to do it.

I tried to implement this in the code, but the node keeps restarting
 when shut down.
 G'day,
Not quite sure what the issue is.
AH... I think you are trying to start/stop openob without stopping the
 controlling program.
I took the easy option and used systemd to stop/start and just called
systemctl to do the heavy work.

may help (not in use and not really finished, but I think it works) I
think there maybe a config file missing, let me know if there is and I
 can update the git.

the hammer. If it moves and `\___/' \) ~
 shouldn't, use the tape. \\\
